"For a long time, before I met Coach JJ, I was spinning my wheels. I thought I ate well, I thought I drank enough water and I thought I trained well. Truth is, I didn’t. "The main thing that helped me was the accountability. If I had to be honest, it was both knowing that I had to show JJ my food/macros for the day and the investment I spent on health.The accountability of not letting JJ down, because he was dedicated to helping me achieve my goals and also not letting myself down. "My advice is to make sure you stick to the program. Stick to the macros and remember that it isn’t about when you can eat next, it’s about pushing yourself and listening to your body. It is about knowing the difference between being hungry and being addicted to opening the refrigerator. I would say keep an open mind, trust the process, and know that if you listen to JJ and follow his advice you will be where you want to be not far from now."

"The improvement I have seen from working with Coach JJ isn’t just in my eating habits and my relationship with food in general. I think it’s weird to eat every day and I couldn’t even imagine eating how I used to before I started with Coach JJ. "I have lost around 38 pounds in just a little over 9 weeks."

"My self-esteem has increased. My physical condition is improving when I thought it could not due to the ACL injury that changed my life. I’ve lost over 50 lbs now. I’m getting back into riding my bicycle, using weight to tone the flabby skin from weight loss. Moreover, I have more energy and stamina. This is a lifestyle. It doesn’t happen overnight. Push through the tough times. Stay accountable. Respect yourself and your body. It will pay off.

The first person I thought to share this accomplishment with was Coach JJ because I know it’s more than a business for him. It’s a passion for him and he will always be proud of you regardless if it’s his month of coaching or if after you learn his tools and you do it on your own.

I started working with Coach JJ 3 years post-baby. I dropped a ton of weight, looked great, yet life got in the way and I indulged during the holidays. I think it took me two more rounds with Coach JJ before I started to “get it” and began to work on myself independently.

I would say for people who do not make their living in the fitness life sometimes maintaining is a struggle. My advice is to stick with Coach JJ to develop your own independence. In other words, it’s more than just having a coach. He helps you learn the tools and understand that it’s possible to view food and weight differently therefore someday you can fly on your own.

I am now on the carnivore diet which I started for health benefits. I discovered things I didn’t know were causing inflammation and now feel stronger than ever! I still want a few more pounds off and know it will come in time as I stay focused on my overall health.
